Strand Electric Theatre Projector with Original Stand

Strand Electric set the standard for theatre lights and projectors during the mid-20th century. Here is a beautiful example of a theatre light or projector that would have lit up productions at the UK's pre-eminent theatres. The front of the lamp features a lens to focus the light, while it retains its original grey finish. In fantastic condition, this lamp comes mounted on it's original stand, complete with Strand Electric branding. It has a blue three-legged base with a working mechanism to extend the lamp's height to over 2.6 metres. The lovely stand handles come in an eye-catching red and black colour combination. We replaced the missing castors and rewired the lamp with a long, grey 3-core flex, in-line switch, and converting it to a standard household bulb ensures this piece doesn't overpower the home or office. New plug and PAT test are included.
